Today, a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Ali Asadov was held on the consequences, adaptation and mitigation of the climate change.

The meeting was attended by members of the government and chief executives of several cities and regions.

It was mentioned in the meeting about the importance of obligations of Azerbaijan under international conventions on climate change, the problems caused by global climate change and the need to expand efforts to reduce their impact.

Reports on the impact of climate change on agriculture and the social sphere, natural disasters and their prevention, efficient use of natural resources were listened and relevant instructions were given.
