Guided by Item 8 of Article 119 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in order to contain the spread of novel coronavirus infection on the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby order:

1. To suspend all educational and teaching activities and postpone all related events at all educational institutions functioning on the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan until the end of the Academic Year 2019-2020, with the exception of examinations and interviews for attestation of students and admission of children (pupils) to general education institutions; reception of requests from citizens for issuance of various reference letters and documents; and other events not related directly to educational and teaching activities ensuring that all rules of special quarantine regime defined by legislation are followed.
2. The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, other Executive Powers having educational institutions under their own auspices and public legal entities or legal entities whose controlling block of shares belongs to state shall ensure the provision of necessary measures for the execution of the 1st part of this order.
3. This order shall become effective upon the date it is signed.
