As part of his working visit to Turkmenistan, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze in Ashgabat.
Ali Asadov conveyed the greetings of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to his Georgian counterpart. PM Kobakhidze expressed his gratitude and asked to extend his greetings to the President of Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, the sides hailed the development of the Azerbaijan–Georgia strategic partnership across trade and economic cooperation, investment, transport and transit, oil and gas, green energy, humanitarian initiatives, and other areas.
Particular attention was given to topical issues on the agenda of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
