On October 26, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with BP's Executive Vice President for Production and Operations – Gordon Birrell, and Regional President for Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey – Gary Jones.

During the meeting, mutual satisfaction was expressed along with the long-standing partnership between Azerbaijan and BP. Prospects for cooperation were discussed.

The importance of the projects implemented by BP in Azerbaijan were emphasized. The company's opportunities in participation of the green energy zone project in the liberated lands were highlighted.
