On December 11, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov as part of his working visit to Ashgabat.
Prime Minister Ali Asadov conveyed greetings of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and his congratulations on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed his gratitude for the greetings and congratulations of President Ilham Aliyev, and asked to convey his regards to the Azerbaijani head of state.
During the meeting, the sides hailed the high-level political dialogue between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, as well as discussed prospects for development of bilateral cooperation in the areas mutual interest.
