On July 14, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with Arnout Damen, the Chief Executive Officer of Damen Shipyards Group.
During the meeting, the sides highlighted the successful development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Damen Shipyards Group, welcoming the company's active participation in projects being implemented across the country.
They emphasized that further strengthening Azerbaijan's position as an international transport and logistics hub, alongside the expansion of its transit potential, opens up promising new avenues for partnership in shipbuilding and maritime transport.
The discussions also focused on the prospects for expanding cooperation in shipbuilding, the integration of advanced maritime technologies, and other areas of mutual interest.
The Minister of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Rashad Nabiyev, also attended the meeting.
