Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Ali Asadov held a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart Mikhail Mishustin.
During the call, the sides discussed current issues of trade and economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia. They noted the positive dynamics in trade turnover and reviewed jointly implemented projects across various areas of mutual interest.
The Russian side expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani leadership for its assistance in the prompt evacuation of Russian citizens from Iran amid the tense regional situation.
The heads of government emphasized the significance of yesterday’s visit to Baku by the Russian delegation led by the Deputy Prime Minister and welcomed the agreement to hold the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation in Azerbaijan in April.
Ali Asadov also congratulated Mikhail Mishustin on his 60th anniversary and wished him continued success in his future endeavors.
