On June 24, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with a delegation led by Numan Kurtulmuş, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (GNAT), in Baku.
During the meeting, the sides described the hosting of the 20th Session of the Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States in Baku as an important event.
They praised the successful development of Azerbaijan-Türkiye relations in all areas, based on brotherhood, alliance, and mutual trust.
Emphasizing that interparliamentary cooperation is an important component of bilateral relations, the parties highlighted the significance of close contacts and reciprocal visits between the legislative bodies of the two countries.
The sides expressed confidence that the Azerbaijan-Türkiye strategic partnership would continue to gain new momentum and discussed prospects for expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
