On July 10, Prime Minister Ali Asadov chaired a meeting of Azerbaijan’s Economic Council.
The agenda featured detailed discussions on the State Program on the Development of Tourism in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026–2030, including the prospects and key priorities for tourism development, the Development of the Mining and Metallurgical Industry: Current Situation and Prospects for 2030, as well as other current economic issues.
Reports on the agenda items were presented by Chairman of the State Tourism Agency Fuad Naghiyev and Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov. Members of the Economic Council and invited guests held extensive discussions on the presentations.
At the conclusion of the meeting, it was decided to submit the drafts of both state programs discussed on the agenda to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The relevant bodies were also instructed to carry out the necessary follow-up tasks.
