On February 27, Prime Minister Ali Asadov chaired a meeting of Azerbaijan’s Economic Council.
The agenda of the meeting included tasks arising from the Order of President Ilham Aliyev dated May 30, 2025, the draft and key objectives of the "Socio-Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027-2030", the draft of the “Second State Program on Great Return to the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan,” the economic growth in 2025 and its main driver, the policy directions in the field of macroeconomic and financial stability based on the outcomes of 2025, as well as other related issues.
Deputy Prime Ministers Samir Sharifov and Shahin Mustafayev, as well as Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and Governor of the Central Bank Taleh Kazimov delivered remarks on the agenda issues.
Members of the Economic Council also shared their views on the issues discussed.
In conclusion, relevant instructions were given on the draft "Socio-Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027–2030" and other issues.
