Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with chairman of the Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev on the sidelines of the session of the CIS Council of Heads of Government in Moscow. They discussed prospects for developing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia in economic and humanitarian areas.
Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev hailed Russia-Azerbaijan ties. He said the bilateral trade saw a 25-percent growth, describing it as the best indicator in Russia`s economic cooperation with the rest of CIS countries.
Prime Minister Ali Asadov commended the Russian Government for the excellent organization of the session of the CIS Council of Heads of Government. He expressed confidence that Azerbaijan-Russia cooperation would continue developing successfully. The Prime Minister welcomed a proposal to benefit from the opportunities offered by the Skolkovo technopark in the bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
